GRILLED BEEF VINDALOO BURGERS

Serves 4

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 ½ cups Maya Kaimal Vindaloo
  • 4 buns or Kaiser rolls
  • Lettuce leaves and avocado slices (optional)
  • Pre-heat grill to medium.
  • In a large bowl, combine the beef with 1 cup Maya Kaimal Vindaloo sauce. Mix until well-blended. Form into 4 patties; they will be very soft.
  • Gently place burgers on the grill and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook without turning for 10 to 12 minutes. Carefully flip burgers and baste with remaining sauce.
  • Cook another 6 to 8 minutes, basting a few more times.
  • Serve on warmed buns or rolls with lettuce and avocado, if you like.
