SPICY SHRIMP COCKTAIL
Serves 2
- 2 quarts water
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 whole green chili pepper (optional)
- 2 lbs wild shrimp, any size, fresh or frozen, peeled, tails intact
- Maya Kaimal Spicy Ketchup
- Combine the water, bay leaves, salt, and chili, if using, in a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium until the water is simmering and add the shrimp.
- Cook, uncovered, for 2 to 4 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp.
- Drain the shrimp and let cool.
- Serve with a bowl of Maya Kaimal Spicy Ketchup for dipping.
