Test – Kashmiri Veggie Pizza

This quick and easy Kashmiri Veggie Pizza is a fun way to get the Indian flavors you love, in a simple weeknight dinner recipe! We think the tomatoey Kashmiri sauce works especially well, but Tikka Masala or Butter Masala would also be great. And while we like peppers and olives, adapt the toppings to your taste.

Serves 3-4

Cornmeal for sprinkling

1 16oz package pizza dough from the refrigerated section of the grocery store

¼ cup all purpose flour, to roll the dough

¾ jar/9oz Kashmiri Curry Indian Simmer Sauce

½ cup sliced onion

6-8 mini sweet peppers, cut into rings

1/2 cup pitted, halved green olives

8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)

¼ cup coarsely chopped cilantro, for garnish

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 500F. Sprinkle a little cornmeal on a sheetpan.

Step 2
Dust the counter with flour and roll out the dough to fit a 13 x 18-inch sheet pan. Transfer dough to the pan, pressing it out to the sides.

Step 3
Layer on the Kashmiri Sauce, mozzarella cheese and the vegetables.

Step 4
Bake the pizza for 10-14 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.

Step 5
Sprinkle with cilantro and enjoy!!
