Crispy Honey Chili Potatoes
There’s a wide array of potato products in the freezer aisle, but we found that the flattened patties sold as “crowns” were our favorites. They held their crispness better than French fries, and they remind us of Aloo Tikkis! But feel free to experiment with other versions.
Serves 4 as a snack or appetizer
Ingredients
16 oz of frozen Potato Crowns
1 jar Maya Kaimal Honey Chili Stir Fry Sauce
1-2 scallions, sliced
White sesame seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare potatoes according to package directions either in an oven or air fryer for approximately 20 minutes, adding 5 minutes more cooking time if needed to get an extra crispy texture.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat 1 jar of Honey Chili Stir Fry Sauce in small skillet until just warm. Pour about 1/3 cup into a small bowl for dipping.
Step 3
When the crowns are done, place them in a wide bowl, drizzle the remaining sauce over them and toss briefly to partially coat. Place on a medium platter with the bowl of extra sauce. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately!
